Job Description:
JORDAN YOUTH INNOVATION FORUM is seeking a skilled and creative Communication Officer to join our team. The Communication Officer will be responsible for the development and implementation of the organization’s communication and outreach strategies, as well as the management of its online and offline channels.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in communication, with experience in the nonprofit sector. They will have excellent writing and editing skills, and the ability to craft compelling messages that engage and inspire audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a communication and outreach strategy for the organization.
- Manage the organization’s online channels, including the website, social media, and email newsletters.
- Produce and disseminate promotional materials, such as press releases, fact sheets, and brochures.
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, partners, and stakeholders.
- Support the organization’s fundraising efforts by creating compelling donor communications.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as communication, public relations, or marketing.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in communication, with a focus on the nonprofit sector.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Passion for Youth Empowerment and a commitment to advancing the organization’s cause.
